A Very Stressful Week
And why is it? Because…..my precious laptop almost crashed. Well, not actually crashed, just some things that kind of messed up. Geez, I really thought it was the end of the world. It happened Wednesday afternoon, it suddenly wouldn’t boot up even on safe mode etc. Some friends told me it might be a virus and the laptop might need to be reconfigured but hubby wasn’t convinced, yet, I was so persistent that we have it fixed since I have lots of things to do on my computer.
My brother in law who knows computers was out of town and we have no choice but face the fact that we might have to spend inorder for it to get fixed. Good thing, my hubby’s high school buddy got this brother in law that knows how to fix computers. So, we brought the laptop at their place and left it there overnight for a full check up. The problem was my C drive only got 1gb left and there are some temporary files from a certain program that I use all the time that wasn’t removed automatically. So it is sort of a combination of a program failure and a couple of small viruses of some sort that was found into the system. He did fixed it though also my C drive from 1.37gb now has 19gb of extra space. Good thing we don’t need to reformat the laptop, also he recommended we buy an external HDD since I do a lot of digital scrapbooking projects.
So, that was it, all is well now but I had certainly learned a lot from that incident and I have learned to value my computer more this time.
Need New Glasses
Christmas is almost here, we must admit we are on crunch time. We must cut down on our unnecessary expenses and save up or save more for that rainy day.
What my family do is we cut down our grocery expense. We see to it that before we head out to the grocery store that we list everything we need and that we stick to it. Also instead of watching movies a lot, we just watch cable at home and do some bonding time activities. We still do watch movies though but we cut it off to at least once or twice a month.
Another thing, my eyeglasses just gave up on me recently when my son accidentally sat on it, hubby and I talked about me getting a new pair but we were quite reluctant for we know how costly eyeglasses can be. Good thing we saw this great deal at Zenni Optical, they have a huge selection of eyeglasses at a very affordable price. With the economic challenges that we encounter nowadays, it is always nice to know that you can still buy something stylish and in good quality on a very affordable rate.
Well, I still have to finish my christmas list, what I was thinking was maybe I can also get my parents and my mom in law a pair of eyeglasses from Zenni Optical this Chrismas, that way they can still look fab and to think I won’t have to spend much.

** It depends actually but it is mostly gossip if it’s at work or exchanges of sweet nothings in terms of lovers
2 What kinds of current women’s clothing styles do you dislike the most?
** I am not actually sure what they call it but I think its leggings that goes through the ankle, I personally do not like clothes that are too clingy especially on a hot weather.
3. What is your greatest extravagance?
** Usually during christmas….gift for my family, closest friends and god-children
4. Do you have a good luck charm? What is it?
** Materially none but my son is my good luck charm though.

** Hmmm… it’s ok it doesn’t affect me anymore we have all moved on…or in my case I have moved on.

Perfect Lighting
While surfing the net, I suddenly realized that I should start building up my christmas wish list since Christmas is like less than 2 months away. Well the Corelle diningware and the Kitchenaid 5 quart mixer and some digi-scrapping kits still tops the list, but what I might add this time is this
Minka Lighting fixture that I saw just 5 seconds ago, such marvelous lamps and lighting fixtures perfect for just any type of house since they have varieties of designs to choose from.
Well, I just wish hubby reads this post.
Update on Jennifer Hudsons Lost Nephew
Just last night while watching the local news, there’s this news about former American Idol winner and star of Dream Girls; Jennifer Hudson; ready to give out a reward for those people who can help or point out on where to find his missing 7 year old nephew. I was shocked to have read the news just a couple of minutes ago online that the 7 year old kids body (which was said to be of match to the lost kid) was found lifeless at the back of an abandoned SUV on a street in Chicago, Illinois. Illinois Police and the FBI have yet to identify the remains and is for autopsy schedule.
There has been no word yet from the Hudson family. Well, let’s just hope that it is not him though. We mothers know that it is so hard to lose someone especially your loved one. I would be surely following this story so please check out my other blog for more recent updates.
Still Up
It is 2:30am here right now and I just finished the last among the 6 digi-scrap LO’s that a friend requested for me to make. I am still up to surfing the net so I just decided to check out this alli diet pills one of my friend recommended which she saw online. I am pretty much anxious to lose a couple more pounds and continue my walking sessions in the afternoon so I am pretty sure I am on the right side of the road. Well, let me just see what it can offer.
