Once again it’s Tuesday and for this week the topic is about our 10 Superstitions, Traditions, and/or Personality Quirks. Actually here in the Philippines, we have a lot but let me just name the top 10 as per this meme is what it’s all about. Some might find this funny/crazy/hilarious/impossible, me myself finds some ridiculous, but all the while our ancestors might have proven something that made this superstition work/existed in the past years. So here it goes:
1. If your baby is always sick, you must change his name.
2. Don’t sweep the house at night or you sweep away the blessings
3. You should not clear the table not unless everybody is done, or else the one left would end up an old maid of if the person is married, might lose someone they love.
4. You should not sleep with an empty stomach or else your spirit would wander in the kitchen and might get trapped in a casserole. hahahahaha!!!! (this is the funniest I’ve heard)
5. The bride to be should not see his groom to be at least the night before the wedding itself to avoid accident.
6. It is said that the purpose of the veil on the brides wedding attire is to conceal the bride from evil spirits until she reaches the altar to the one she loves.
7. Don’t clip fingernails at night or you will have a fight with your parents.
8. If in your dream your tooth fell off, upon waking up you should look for a tree and bite on a portion of its bark so that nobody in the family will be harmed.
9. If you attended a funeral, you should take a different route from the usual and have the clothes you wore laundried right away so that the spirits will not follow you home.
10. If you are a virgin, don’t sing while cooking or you will marry an old man.

–> Of course where else? But KFC
3. What is by far the worst place to get fast food from in your opinion?
–> Hmmmm…. in my opinion, let me see….Chowking I guess, although the food is good, they never ever actually get your orders right in terms of putting it inside the bag for take out. It’s either they miss 1 order of if you’re lucky it would exceed one order that you didn’t actually pay for.
