Puzzlepalooza
While I was doing window shopping one afternoon, I marveled at the angels painting that I saw at the toys section. Wait a minute…you might be thinking..an angels painting on the toys section? Yes! you’ve read it right. I was thinking the same thing the first time I saw it, I was thinking probably it was misplaced there because it actually looks better if placed probably at the furniture department … I was wrong. The angels painting was so big you can actually put in your living room (if you have a big one) to decorate on. As I go and took a closer look on it, it was not a painting but puzzles, little ones that if you look at the finished product at a far distance it indeed looks like one great masterpiece.
Weeks after I went back and bought one for me to try… its a 1000 piece puzzle but its not as big as the one that I saw. Its a fairy puzzle that I think would look good if I put it in my living room or the dining area. When I went home I excitedly opened the box to start doing it right away and after 3 hours of working on it, I never thought its as hard as I imagined it to be. The puzzles were very tiny that you’d get yourself a headache after hours on just focusing on it. A month had passed still I wasn’t able to finish the piece, but I am proud to say I was able to put some pieces together. I think it needs a lot of talent and expertise in analysis and of course dedication for you to finish one.
As of the moment I’m still stucked to that same part where I started, I have almost given up and had somebody else finish it for me but anyway, I think it would be a great past time to relax the mind. I’m still trying to find time finishing it especially during off days from work to piece up the puzzles and probably have it framed and hung on my wall to admire.
Goldie the Fish
The not so recent addition to the family is a goldfish, named Goldie by my son Ethan. My son and his yaya bought the fish one afternoon on their way back home from school. My kiddo always likes the movie Nemo and although the Goldfish that we have is not included in the movie, he has always been amazed on sea creatures ever since especially fishes. Every time we go SM, he never fails to pay a visit at the Pet Store there and just marvel on all the fishes that he sees. It was funny because when they first bought Goldie, they just put him on an empty big sandwich spread bottle. Now he lives in a big fishbowl wherein it has a lot more space with a ceramic house and a plastic plant as decoration on it.
Shih Tzu
We have several pets in our home. We have 2 dogs named Kenzo and Teddy Boy (both Shih Tzu and are male by the way) and a Goldfish which my son named Goldie.
I first got a Shih Tzu of my own when my husband finally agreed on getting one last 2005. I got Kenzo from a very lovely Shih Tzu breeder named Cheryl, Kenzo is a black and white little chump and is very adorable he is the most behaved yet a little bit stubborn. He is picky with food thats why he’s abit thinner than Teddy; yet a very sweet little guy. I named him Kenzo which
I got from a perfume line that I liked. The second one I got a year after from the same breeder, he was named Teddy Boy from the breeder themselves. I decided not to change the name anymore since his name speaks from what he looks, he looks indeed like one. Teddy is very active. He loves to eat that is why he’s a lot bigger and heavier than Kenzo. Most of the time he just likes to lay himself down and feel lazy and likes tummy rubs a lot.
Shih Tzu (Lion Dog) or (Chrysanthemum Dog), as what I got from dogbreedinfo.com, when I did a bit of research of the breed “Are brought from Tibet and bred in the forbidden City of Peking, probably by crossing the Tibetan Lhasa Apso and the native Pekingese. The Shih-Tzu became a favorite of the Imperial Chinese court. The breed was so revered that for many years after the Chinese began trading with the West, they refused to sell, or even give away, any of the little dogs. It was not until 1930 that the first pair was imported to England. The Shih-Tzu was recognized in Britain in 1946 and by the AKC in the United States in 1969. Today the breed is very popular, both as a companion and as a glamorous show dog”. Amazing isnt it?
Shih Tzu are lovable little dogs and can live up to 15 years of their life, they needed constant grooming if you prefer to grow their hair long. But if you do not like that, you can have their hair cut short for low maintenance like what I did. My dogs have complete papers from Philippine Canine and have been vaccinated since the early months of their lives.
If you have decided on getting a pet of your own whatever breed that may be, you should do research first on whats the best dog breed that suits you and your environment, most importantly your lifestyle. May it be dogs or whatever you have in mind. For more information about the certain breed though, you can look it up at www.dogbreedinfo.com or better yet you can visit this website where I bought my doggies at www.fantasiashihtzu.com , and please do not buy from puppy mills.
