Bathroom Stuff
My cousin and I went to the hardware store yesterday to canvass and check out faucets for the toilets they’ll be installing in the apartments that their family has built for extra. His parents just came from out of the country and decided to retire here in the Philippines. I have never been to the hardware or do it yourself store for years now and I didn’t realize there are really cool bathroom stuff that you can find, what more in the years to come? Technology is really moving fast.
Wising For A Seating
We have had no sofa since we moved in. Its just that we didn’t get the chance to really go out and pick a seating that we wanted. Maybe we just got contented with the stools from the monoblock dining table but hey, they really are expensive. I’m thinking maybe, contemporary sofas might come cheap; I dont know, it was 2008 since we got a decent sofa really. I wish we can get to have one, its hard to have people come over especially when they dont have a place to sit on. I dont know, I hope that comes soon.
Tile Designs
Ive been thinking of buying a tile as sample so that I can bring it with me whenever we go back to the house where we are planning to buy. There are such lost of designs that you really cannot decide as to what to buy. The house is mostly bare in terms of tiling and all so I was thinking on our final site trip I can bring it with me. I guess Im just pretty excited into finally getting a place of our own.
Elegant Lighting
I cant help but surf the net a little more after I saw the best lighting ever online. I was about to log off everything yet I accidentally went to this website about Murray Feiss lighting. I just admired how classy and elegant their lines are especially the designs for their chandeliers..just so perfect. I think it would really look good in a big living room or a high ceiling type of house. Well, I think I’ll just wish away till now, I dont wanna buy any stuff yet till we get to have a house.
Window Shopping
H and I have been planning ever since before we got our 13th month pay to buy several fixtures that we lack at home. We went window shopping during my birthday and I saw really nice home stuff nowadays. More better than the last time we went window shopping and that was 2 weeks before that. We saw a lot of modern furniture and also the classic ones like rattan at reasonable prices. We will be going back next week to finalize our purchase. I am pretty sure the prices will still be discounted so we are hoping to get a really good deal.
Property Shopping
Nope, we haven’t bought anything just yet, H and I have been scouting for the best places on where we can get a house and lot for us to permanently live. We have been to several tripping with real estate agents just mostly here in our area and had found several houses from developers that we like.I am thinking of making certain revisions by the time we get a house, maybe install one of those Hansgrohe faucets that I really like (see photo above) for the bathrooms and also 1 for the kitchen sink. I cant wait for us to get our own place. Although renting is fine, but its best to put the money that goes to renting to the house that will be yours eventually instead, and besides real estate property is one of the best investments.
Vacuum Dillema
Our vacuum cleaner at home got busted and it will be a challenge for us to clean the carpets since they are so heavy. My brother contacted a repairman and said that we need a central vacuum motor. I am helping out by checking out possible places on whree to buy it online or on a local retail store. I hope I can see one asap, the vacuum needs to be fixed right away.
Bonding
Being back home for a short time is nice, I get to bond with my 2 other sisters and my mom, though we miss papa very much we make it a point that we support each other all the way. Later tonight mom and I might be going out together with my sisters to do little shopping and also she mentioned she would like to check out copper kitchen sinks so that she can replace the old one at home. I Hope we can still have enough time to really look around later.
Looking Forward
H and I have been thinking of buying a new home via housing program perhaps , we have been looking at the best deals and so far we have been eyeing one subdivision that we like in terms of its neighborhood and the house of course. One of the major downside on houses that are being made by the developers are the design of the tiles of course most of the time it is limited to what they offer. Good thing we were informed we can make changes in terms of the tiling design. I saw several porcelain tile in the market that are nice yet affordable. I hope that when the time comes that we are ready to have our own, the tiles in the market would still be affordable or much more affordable than it is today so that I would be able to design the tiles the way I wanted without worrying about the cost.
Furniture Hunt
We have been looking since 2 months ago for a decent contemporary dining furniture. The old was only good for 4 and we realized that we need a bigger one, at least 6 seater to compensate during the holidays and special occasions. 
With the wide array of selections nowadays it is very hard to get the one that can last for years and that is elegant looking as well, sometimes you would have to sacrifice either the beauty or the quality. We have spent months undecided on what to buy up until now, because we are also weighing things if it is best buying the ready made ones or the made to order ones. I saw one nice dining set the one that looks exactly like the picture above, I am just waiting for the pre christmas sale and at least by then probably we can get a great deal from the store. I a m keeping my fingers crossed.
